For those of you that are new to forums, a thread is a topic or subject inside a certain category or forum. A post is then a reply to that certain thread, or subject. There are usually many posts inside each thread.
How to make a thread:
1. Click on the category you would like to make a thread in. For example the from called "Introductions".
2. At the bottom of the page there should be a button called "New Topic". Click on it.
3. A page with 3 text boxes will pop up. Two smaller text boxes on top of a large text box. The First text box is the subject. Here you can type the subject that you are going to talk about. The second text box is the description. This text box is optional and you can write a brief description about the topic you are talking about. The third and final text box is probably the most important of them all. This is the message body. Here you can type questions, comments, answers, discussion stuff, etc. about your topic. There are also many different buttons and smiles that you can play around with.
4. Once you are done with your message body scroll to the bottom of the page and hit "send". This will make your thread. You can also click the "preview" button to preview your thread before posting it.
How to Post:
1. Once you are in the desired thread scroll tot he bottom of the page and click "add reply".
2. The page that is discussed in "step 3" above will show up. Fill out this page to you liking.
3. Click "Send" at the bottom of the page when you are done. This will make your post.You can also click the "preview" button to preview your thread before posting it.
