Signature Avatar Tutorial

Ok for those of you that are new to forums, Avatars are the pictures that people have under their Screen names on their posts. Signatures are the writing or text that people have at the bottom of their post.

To Get a direct link:

1. Once the desired image is found right click on that image.
2. A menu will pop up. Click properties.
3. Highlight the whole (make sure it is the whole url) url where it says "Location"
4. Right click on the highlighted url and click copy.

To get an Avatar:

1. Click on the Profile button on the menu bar at the top of the page.
2. At the profile you can edit a bunch of information as you would like. Anyway under the menu bar over to the right a bit their should be a bunch of options. They are: Information | Preferences | Signature | Avatar | Friends and foes | Topic being watched. Click on the Avatar option.
3. Now it will give you some different options of getting an avatar.
-The first option is to upload a picture from your computer. Do this by clicking the "browse" button and then selecting the picture from the file that you saved it to on your computer.
- The second option is to upload an avatar via a URL. To do this find the picture that you would like on the internet. Once this picture is found Follow the steps of copying a direct link. Then paste this link into the second option under the avatar selection.
- The third and final Option is to pick an avatar from the forum gallery. In this case click the show gallery button. There will be a little scroll box at the top of the page that will allow you to pick a category of avatars. Once the category is picked click "go" and it will take you to that category of avatars. Once you have found the desired avatar select the little bubble under that avatar and then scroll to the bottom of the page and click "select avatar". It will then bring you to a screen where you select return to my profile.
4. Once you have selected the correct avatar or input the correct link click the "Save" button at the bottom of the avatar page. This will then save the picture as your avatar.

To get a Signature:

1. Click on the Profile button on the menu bar at the top of the page.
2. At the profile you can edit a bunch of information as you would like. Anyway under the menu bar over to the right a bit their should be a bunch of options. They are: Information | Preferences | Signature | Avatar | Friends and foes | Topic being watched. Click on the Signature option.
3. There will be a text box at the bottom of the page. You can type of put what ever you want into this text box. To put an image as a signature get the direct link of that image. Then type this into your text box: You Direct Link" border="0" alt=""/>. Make sure that your signature is with in the size limit. The size limit is found in the *Rules* section of the website.
4. Click save at the bottom of the signature page.
